The Regional Climate Downloader (RCD) is a web application designed to visualize and download data from our Thredds catalog. The RCD is more powerful and more complex than the RCCV. The Thredds catalog is essentially a disaggregation of all of the variables in our data sets into a form that optimizes access and downloading speeds. The RCD is capable of displaying all variables over all currently available time periods from the model runs and it can be used to download subsets of the model data that the user has selected by location, time period and variables.
